The department congratulates the graduates of the class of 2020 who will be receiving their degrees during virtual commencement on Saturday, May 23. There is usually a departmental graduation ceremony held the day before graduation, however,  due to the campus being closed, the department has instead put together a video about the graduating class which can be found here:

A total of 110 students are graduating with a BS, 13 with a Masters, and 5 PhDs are awarded. The numbers reflect the popularity of our program.

In addition to honoring the graduating students, several awards are given:

Class of 1902 Research Prize: Huidong Xie
J. Lawrence and Gertrude Katz Award in Biomedical Engineering: Nicole Marie Ragone
Most-valuable Teaching Assistant Award: Sarah van Houten
Paul B. Daitch Memorial Award: Joshua Goldwag
Willie Stanton Award: Emily Stiklickas
