BME students win NSF Graduate Fellowships & Honorable Mentions

Devan Puhl has been awarded one of the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships (NSF GRFP) for her graduate studies at Rensselaer. She is a first year student working in Dr. Ryan Gilbert's lab on biomaterials for nerve repair. Furthermore, a former undergraduate Rensselaer BME student, Carolyn Chlebek, who is now a graduate student at Cornell University has also been awarded the NSF GRFP. Lastly, honorable mentions for the fellowship application were given to Rensselaer BME alumns Alexander Grath and Jorge Zhingre Sanchez.
