Condell Eastmond named GEM Associate Fellow

Condell Eastmond, a doctoral student in Dr. Xavier Intes’s Functional & Molecular Optical Imaging Lab, has been named a GEM Associate Fellow: https://www.gemfellowship.org/gem-fellowship-program/

Condell's thesis focuses on developing new AI tools to study the human brain in relation to performance at work and in everyday settings.  His work contributes to the rising fields of Simulation Based Inference and Deep Learning, and also to developing the assessment of surgical skill execution and acquisition using optical neuroimaging data.
