The Graduation reception is held at the Academy Hall Auditorium on May 18, 2018 to celebrate the achievements of the students graduating this year. A total of 109 students are graduating with a BS, 22 with a Masters, and 10 PhDs are awarded. The number of students receiving degrees of all three types is at a record level, reflecting the popularity of the program.
In addition to honoring the graduating students, several awards are given:
The Paul B. Daitch Memorial Award: Sara Harper
The Zelda & David G. Gisser Prize in Biomedical Engineering: Qi Pian
The J. Lawrence and Gertrude Katz Award in Biomedical Engineering: Tyler Graf
The Charles D. Dyce Prize: Ha'ani-Bell N. Quichocho
Most Valuable Teaching Assistant: Matthew Getzin
