Congratulations to all BME graduates!

The department congratulates the graduates of the class of 2020 who will be receiving their degrees during virtual commencement on Saturday, May 23. There is usually a departmental graduation ceremony held the day before graduation, however,  due to the campus being closed, the department has instead put together a video about the graduating class which can be found here:

A total of 110 students are graduating with a BS, 13 with a Masters, and 5 PhDs are awarded. The numbers reflect the popularity of our program.

In addition to honoring the graduating students, several awards are given:

Class of 1902 Research Prize: Huidong Xie
J. Lawrence and Gertrude Katz Award in Biomedical Engineering: Nicole Marie Ragone
Most-valuable Teaching Assistant Award: Sarah van Houten
Paul B. Daitch Memorial Award: Joshua Goldwag
Willie Stanton Award: Emily Stiklickas
Zelda & David G. Gisser Prize in Biomedical Engineering: Troy Vargason
