Joan Llabre, a graduate student in Dr. Deepak Vashisht's lab, has received a 2019 ASBMR Young Investigator Award for her abstract presentation Circadian Rhythm Disruption in Combination with High-Fat Diet alters Glycemic Control and impair Bone Health. Each ASBMR Young Investigator Award recipient received a $1,000 honorarium and a plaque commemorating this award.
