The RPI Board of Trustees has approved Mariah Hahn's promotion to Professor.
Mariah received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2004. She completed a post-doc at Rice University before joining Texas A&M University as an Assistant Professor in 2005 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2011. She moved to Rensselaer in 2012.
Her research interests include elucidating cell-biomaterial interactions so as to rationally guide bone and vascular regeneration. Mariah is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2010), the American Heart Association Scientist Development Award (2008), and the American Society of Engineering Education GSW Young Faculty Award (2009).
