Rensselaer BME students win SWE scholarships and awards

Undergraduate students at Rensselaer have been extremely successful with their applications for Society of Women Engineer's scholarships. A total of 14 Rensselaer students received SWE scholarships, four of these students are enrolled in BME. The BME RPI Dorothy M. and Earl S. Hoffman Scholarship (SWE) Recipients for the 2014-2015 Academic Year were: Andrea Deeb, Donna Creighton, Alison Lanzi, and Stephanie Sawicz. Furthermore, RPI-SWE was awarded an Outreach MOU Partnership Award for their programming and Carolyn Chlebec was awarded 3rd place in the national UG research poster competition for her UG research with Prof. Eric Ledet.
