Jin Chen, doctoral student of Dr. Xavier Intes, received the "Outstanding Presentation of Original Scientific Research" from Columbia University, for her presentation titled "Time gated optical imaging for functional and structural imaging" at the 36th Annual Northeast Bioengineering Conference in March 2010. Jin also received the "Best Student Poster Presentation Award" from the 2010 Biomedical Optics Meeting in Miami, FL. The title was "Time Resolved Optical Imaging with Patterned Light for Pre - Clinical Studies."
