Congratulations to Nabeel Ali, Class of 2012, on his research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He will spend the summer working with Dr. Udo Hoffman, Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School, utilizing predictive modeling to assess and quantify the risk associated with atherosclerotic plaque. He was also chosen to participate in the 2010 University of California Berkeley’s Amgen Scholars Program. The prestigious Amgen Scholars program is international - established both in the United States and Europe. Nabeel was one of twenty-four students selected from a pool of over seven hundred applicants at UC Berkeley. Furthermore, he was one of only six sophomores invited to participate in their program. This summer Nabeel has the opportunity to conduct research at UC Berkeley alongside some of the world's leading academic scientists. Towards the conclusion of the program, Nabeel along with other Amgen Scholars across the nation will attend a three-day symposium in Los Angeles where they will share their summer research projects with their peers.
