Congratulations to all BME graduates!

The department congratulates the graduates of the class of 2021 who will be receiving their degrees during commencement on Saturday, May 22. There is usually a departmental graduation ceremony held the day before graduation, however,  due to restrictions on campus gatherings, the department will instead host a virtual reception on Friday, May 21, from noon-1pm:

A total of 93 students are graduating with a BS, 20 with a Masters, and 5 PhDs are awarded. The numbers reflect the popularity of our program.

In addition to honoring the graduating students, several awards are given:

J. Lawrence and Gertrude Katz Award in Biomedical Engineering: Emmaline Di Pace
Most-valuable Teaching Assistant Award: Jennifer Ferina
Paul B. Daitch Memorial Award: Melissa Atkinson
Zelda & David G. Gisser Prize in Biomedical Engineering: Ahmad Arabiyat
4.0 Award: Emmaline Di Pace
